Weibel delivery of advanced radar system to large test site

Our customer, operating one of Northern Europe’s largest test sites, will now be able to test very complex test scenarios within air defense featuring fighter jets, drones and missiles.

Beyond possessing our most advanced phased array technology to date, the system also supports four independent video-trackers, each with its own high grade optical or infrared camera, designed for optimal operation during darkness.

Finally, the radar system is positioned in the Arctic and is thus designed with a special thermo-insulated cover allowing operators to work the radar even at extremely cold conditions.
