Veterans week at Weibel

Donation to Project Greenland
Here at Weibel we salute the men and women that have unselfishly served abroad in the fight for peace and freedom. To Weibel it is of the utmost importance to give something back, and a focal part of our CSR policy is supporting veterans get back on their feet. As part of The Kingdom of Denmark, Greenlandic citizens have the right to serve in The Danish Armed Forces, and during the course of time quite a few Greenlanders have been deployed in international missions. Today, 100 veterans live in Greenland. This year, Weibel has proudly supported The Greenlandic Veteran Initiative that brings together Danish and Greenlandic veterans in Greenland in order to raise awareness of this – to some maybe neglected – part of the veteran community. In Weibel, we are very thankful for the sacrifice made by men and women across The Kingdom of Denmark. They were willing to offer the most precious in life – life itself – to protect the values that are the very foundation of our nations. We must never fail to help the ones that lost part of themselves along the way. That’s why we are proud to say, that we have donated 100.000 DKK to Veteran project Greenland.
Warrior week at Weibel
Weibel had the pleasure of hosting 50 Danish and American veterans as well as representatives from the American Embassy in Denmark. Wounded Warrior Week is an annual event with the purpose of honouring military veterans and raising awareness of the cause. Weibel has been part of Wounded Warrior Week for many years and we are proud of hosting this event.
