HEMERIA chooses Weibel tracking radar for network deployment

Once completed, the Electro-Optical Tracking System network will be delivered to the French Government’s Defense procurement and technology agency (DGA).

“Weibel has been working together with both HEMERIA and DGA for many years, and we are both proud and honored to be delivering this tracking radar as part of a very well-proven and efficient system to DGA. We expect to deliver six additional radar systems in the near future as a follow-on to this contract,” says Weibel’s Sales Director Pelayu C. Buelga.

The 36dB radar is part of Weibel’s popular X-Band tracking radar family, which consists of the smaller 33dB version and larger versions of up to 45dB and up to 57dB for ballistic missile defence. To date, Weibel has already delivered more than 200 tracking radars for worldwide deployment
